B. Learning from Cambodia: Land Mine Clearing Techniques
  • Visit Landmine Clearance Sites:We will create a compelling documentary capturing the profound contributions of the Cambodian people, NGOs, and government to global peace. This will include footage and photos of our minefield visits, training sessions, interactions with government agencies, interviews with landmine survivors and affected children, and the efforts of our team members. Our documentary will highlight their bravery, determination, and humanitarian spirit in supporting Cambodia’s demining efforts and their commitment to ending wars.
  • Understand Demining Equipment:We will establish a website and leverage social media to showcase our efforts and raise awareness about the vital importance of peace. These platforms will serve as a global stage for our message and a call to action.
  • Global Learning Hub:We will seek support from the Cambodian government for the Apollo Foundation and Locke & Hobbs Foundation to formally recognize the Global Peace Advocates Team for our dedication and leadership, particularly among high school students.
