Witnessing the devastation caused by the Ukraine-Russia War and the Israel-Hamas War, along with the enduring impact on people's lives for decades after the conflict, we, a determined group of high school students from California, are advocating for global peace and post-war recovery efforts. Supported and funded by our non-profit organizations, the Apollo Foundation and the Locke & Hobbs Foundation, we are committed to exploring, researching, and aiding regions suffering from war damage and landmines. Our initiatives include addressing the minefields left from World War II in Egypt, internal conflicts in Kenya, and the Vietnam War.
